First-Year Conference

2007 Review

The 2007 First Year Conference was held on October 11, 2007 at the Pyle Center.   One hundred and sixty people registered for the conference and the attendees spent the morning examining how the learning outcomes, drafted by the Association of American Colleges and Universities Liberal Education America’s Promise campaign can be introduced to first year students.  Provost Patrick Farrell delivered the keynote address and Nancy Westphal-Johnson was awarded the 2008 Outstanding First Year Advocate.  For more information about the conference please refer to the conference archive or contact Wren Singer.
