The Center for the First-Year Experience hires undergraduate students to work with all aspects of SOAR, Wisconsin Welcome and the First Year Experience. Each position has unique time commitments and requires varied amounts of previous experience.

New Student Leaders lead incoming first-year undergraduates and their parents in singing "Varsity" during a Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) session at the Sewell Social Sciences Building at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on July 22, 2008.
